Vero launches business success grants for SMEs

Vero has launched a competition for small business owners to win one of three $10,000 Business Success Grants to help them overcome their toughest challenges.

Insurance Brokerages that qualify as small businesses can also apply for this competition. In addition to the $10,000, the judges will also provide tailored advice to help the winners overcome their challenges. “Small business owners often need to navigate a myriad of challenges in their long winding path to success. Initiatives like the Business Success Grants are Vero’s way of hopefully making the lives of SME owners that little bit less challenging,” said Craig Ouston, Marketing Manager, Vero Insurance.

To enter the competition, small business owners must share their most significant current challenge via Vero’s online ‘Business Success Hub’ and the entries will be judged by a panel of three experts, who are also successful entrepreneurs.

The panel is: Jack Delosa, of The Entourage; Kym Clark, of She’s Empowered; and Justin Dry, of Vinomofo. One business grant will be awarded each month from August to October.

The Business Success Hub, launched in August 2016, is an interactive online platform where SMEs can read success stories, obtain hints for achieving success and use the Vero ‘Success Meter’.
This interactive tool provides users with a ‘Success Profile’ and measures them against similar businesses.
