Morning sessions with key industry regulators and the NIBA Board on Day 2 of the NIBA 2017 Convention set the tone for the day – one which emphasised the professionalism of our sector.
ASIC Deputy Chair Peter Kell, FOS Lead Ombudsman – General Insurance John Price and IBCCC chair Michael Gill kicked off the day by handing ‘bouquets’ to brokers – all saying that insurance broking was not a problem in the area of financial services.
The NIBA Board followed the session with a discussion about representing brokers and the need to maintain professionalism.
The rest of the day rolled on with sessions to ignite delegates’ thinking, including presentations on information security, social selling, customer service, developing a career and maximising the value of a business.
